Staff are on hand at all groups and activities to take care of any aspect of personal care or mobility should it be required. Both are tailored for those, who due to ill health, disability or illness, struggle to get out of the house unaccompanied. We ask for a donation, which goes towards transport arrangements and care support.

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you, or someone you know, would like to join us on any of our fantastic trips or activities.  You will be put in touch with one of our friendly care co-ordinators who will arrange a home visit to get to know you and make the arrangements for you to come along with us.

Friday the 1st of June  -  Carers Lunch at The Orepool Inn, care can be provided at Active Living, Foxes Bridge.

Monday the 4th of June  -  Friendship Group/Stroke Club trip to Weston Super Mare.

Friday the 8th of June  -  Ladies Lunch (Group 2), Chepstow Garden Centre.

Monday the 11th of June  -  Friendship Group Outing (TBC).

Friday 15th of June  -  Gents Pub Club, Whitemead Park.

Friday 22nd of June  -  Ladies Lunch (Group 1), Chepstow Garden Centre.

Friday 29th of June  -  Memory Café - Lydney.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - Active Living, Foxes Bridge, Cinderford.

Every Tuesday - Skills Club Cinderford (term time only).

Take the chance to have a break from your caring role by taking advantage of our wonderful group support sessions.


Whether it is a pub club, ladies lunch or social group, attendees are empowered to take part in stimulating, achievable and meaningful activities, promoting independence, communication and their cognitive ability.


Fully trained support workers are on hand for any aspect of personal care or to assist with mobility and support to access to transport can be provided, or is on hand, at all events.


There is a small charge for these events, however, this is subsidised through continuous fundraising and donations from members of the public and Crossroads support staff.
