Success in the End of Life Care Awards
Last week, we were delighted to announce success at our local care awards. Karen Jackson, Operations Manager, was nominated in the End of Life Category. We’re extremely proud to announce that Karen won!
The awards recognised and acknowledged the hard work carried out my multiple agencies and people working in the care sector, and it was brilliant to meet others who strive to reach the same outcomes and support vulnerable people in our community.
Following on from her success, Karen, along with Amanda (Registered Manager at Crossroads Care), was invited to take part in the judging of the Regional Care Awards. Interviews start this Tuesday.
Crossroads staff feature heavily in the nominations for the regional awards. In Gloucestershire, Kerry Brain received a nomination for Frontline Leader, Julie Knight is in the running for Home Care Worker, Amanda Morgan is up for Registered Manager Award and Karen Jackson has received a second nomination for End of Life Care Planner Award.
In Hereford, we’re represented by our Active Living Team. Claire Smeeth, Deirdre Stephenson and Gretel Cairns are hopeful for success in the Care Innovator Award.
We’d like to wish them the best of luck, and congratulate everybody who has received a nomination, celebrating the tremendous work provided in the industry.
