Carers Support Group Outing to Oakham Treasures

The Carers Support Group have arranged their first trip of 2019!

They will be visiting Oakham Treasures, an award-winning retail and farming museum, on the 31st of January 2019.

The museum has an emporium where you will find a 1950’s sweetshop, transport and engine room with a classic Fordson forward control lorry and a vast display of model warplanes.  The museum also has an exhibition hall featuring a model railway and post office.

There is plenty to do and you’ll be able to enjoy fantastic refreshments at the on-site restaurant.

The cost will be £15 per person, which includes travel and entrance fees.  Attendees are responsible for their own personal expenditure.

We are planning to leave the Forest of Dean at 10am and will return at around 3.30pm.  Crossroads will arrange pick-up points closer to the time.

If you would like to attend, please book your place by the 18th of January.  There will be a £5 deposit.

Places are limited so please contact Crossroads if you would like to book onto the day out.
