Gents Pub Lunch Club

For those who due to ill health, isolation or age, are not able to get out as much as they would like. Monthly groups running across the Forest of Dean and Herefordshire, promoting independence and wellbeing, whilst providing carers with a break from their role. These long established groups are a fantastic opportunity to take some time away from the home, meet friends and make new ones.

Julie is Crossroads Dementia Link Worker, providing specialist knowledge and full support if required.

Active Living Day Centre

At our Active Living Centre, we have a range of fresh and exciting activities planned, offering opportunities to improve health, wellbeing and social experiences all in a safe, secure environment. The activities are designed to promote independence and skills, encourage participants to try something new and share interests and hobbies. Fully qualified staff are on hand, supported by volunteers, to assist with mobility or any aspects of discreet personal care. Specialist Dementia Link Workers are in attendance to support those living with advanced memory difficulties and dementia.

We arrange exciting activities for carers and their loved ones. Come along and join in with social events, fully qualified support staff are on hand to help with any aspect of personal care that may be required.


Active Living Friendship Social Support Groups

Weekly friendship and social support group bringing together carers and members of the family, taking part in activities suitable for those with memory difficulties. Don’t miss our trip out on the second Monday of every month. Each trip is chosen by the previous month’s attendees, contact us for more information.

Information and Support Drop in Sessions

Find out about the information and support out there for you. Whether you are a carer or are experiencing memory difficulties yourself, come along and meet the welcoming Crossroads team and professionals from other organisations who can offer specialist support to you.


Active Living Advanced Dementia Day

Set up for people with moderate-severe dementia, who may find it difficult in larger group activities.  Supported by Crossroads specialist Active Living Dementia Support Team, come and join the fun in a relaxed, calm and secure environment.
